YES, Inc, is proud to offer Flexiteek. When compared to real teak the advantages are numerous. Less cost, less maintenance, less hassle, no holes in your deck, less weight than teak - better fuel efficiency.
PRICE: For a Grade 'A' Teak deck with a thickness of 14mm you will pay around $150.00 per square foot. Once you have a teak deck you must calculate the cost of maintaining the teak at least once a year (sanding, oiling etc.).
SOLUTION: Flexiteek is priced from $55 - 75 per square foot, installed. The price of maintenance is nominal. A little soap and water with a deck brush and your deck will stay looking new. You can even pressure wash it for stubborn dirt.
QUALITY: A number of production lines sell what is believed to be high quality teak, when in fact you are getting sub-par quality, or even in some cases, teak veneer on plywood.
SOLUTION: Flexiteek is manufactured in such a way as to maintain a constant level of quality. This means that your deck will be the highest quality from start to finish.
WEIGHT: Teak weighs around 4.5 pounds per square foot. This leads to more fuel being burned. The average cockpit on a 40 foot yacht is 100 square feet. That equals 450 extra pounds of weight.
SOLUTION: Flexiteek weighs 1.5 pounds per square foot. With the price of fuel going up, it makes more sense to invest in a decking system that looks fantastic and saves you money.
